Greenlight Communities, a dedicated attainable workforce housing developer, is officially breaking ground on its latest rental project, Cabana Mesa Drive. The formal groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m., marking a crucial step in delivering more housing solutions across the Valley.

Located strategically near Mesa and University drives, the project emphasizes connectivity. Patricia Watts, Co-Founder and Senior Partner at Greenlight Communities, highlighted that the site will grant future residents easy access to downtown Mesa’s transit options, employment centers, and various amenities, all while ensuring rental rates remain accessible.

The rapid progression of this project is notable, with the land acquisition finalized less than two months prior to this week’s groundbreaking. The development is a collaborative effort with PGIM, a real estate investment and financing business under Prudential Financial, Inc.
